We are looking for a Storage Software Development Engineer to join our Cloud Innovation Lab Team in Littleton, MA who innovates & shares our passion for winning in the cloud marketplace. The Cloud Innovation Lab is a team dedicated to ensuring that the IBM Cloud is at the forefront of cloud technology, from data center design to network architecture to storage and compute clusters to flexible infrastructure services. We are building IBM's next generation cloud platform to deliver performance and predictability for our customers' most demanding workloads, at global scale and with leadership efficiency, resiliency and security. The successful candidate will be the Storage Software Development Engineer as part of the Cloud Platform team with a focus on the following key responsibilities:
Software development methodology and technology as it relates to the Cloud
Experience with distributed storage systems
Experience with block, file and object storage
Extensive and recent experience in the Enterprise Storage Industry
• Familiarity with and preferably extensive experience with open source CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with storage architectures across Ethernet and PCIe
• Experience with distributed storage systems
• Experience with block, file and object storage
