Job Description

Our Energy Transition Technologies Practice Group is passionate about helping our clients achieve real progress on the Energy Transition, with Practices in:

  • Fleet EVs
  • Public EVs
  • Programs and Funding

We are seeking a Full-Time Analyst to support our Practices in Canada. This will include collaborating globally with the many other Practice Groups and Countries of Arcadis.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Researching and monitoring of developments in the zero-emission transportation technology ecosystem including vehicles and fixed infrastructure,
  • Document the current state of operations and infrastructure for various fleet operators and charging operators.
  • Maintaining and extending our Python-based energy analysis and charging/fuelling simulation tool to estimate energy consumption associated with zero-emission fleet operations,
  • Developing capital and operational cost analyses associated with transitioning fleets from fossil fuel vehicles to zero-emission equivalents and also developing public charging infrastructure,
  • Roadmapping phased investments to transition operators to zero-emission vehicle fleets, 
  • Writing summary reports for a range of technical and non-technical audiences,
  • Developing proposal materials
     

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Passion for accelerating the Energy Transition
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve in an innovative, dynamic, collaborative, and fast paced environment
  • Relevant Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Planning, or Science
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Programming experience in Python or front-end interfaces an asset
