Our Global Architecture & Urbanism Division combines the expertise of IBI’s Buildings and Placemaking practice, our Places’ capabilities, and CRTKL’s multi-sector design leadership to offer a diverse range of solutions focusing on human-centric design, sustainability, and technology.

Arcadis’ Southfield, Michigan office provides full-service Architecture/Engineering for a wide variety of clients across the country and the globe. We are searching for a graduate Architect to join our growing team!  While Arcadis offers remote, in-office and hybrid work options (work where you are most productive!), the ideal candidate for this position would be able to work in a hybrid model.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the execution of a broad range of projects through the design process, production of construction documents and construction administration as part of a multi-discipline project team
  • Work with project teams to understand/establish project goals and objectives including workplan, project schedules, budget parameters, while ensuring the highest product quality
  • Contribute in the design of projects, collaborating with team members to achieve set goals and targets
  • Participate in the development of documentation and specifications 
  • Respond to internal and external customers, addressing technical needs as they arise
  • Collaborate with other Arcadis architectural practices around the US, and potentially globally  
  • Network and consult with various industry professionals

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor or Masters’ Degree in Architecture from an accredited university
  • Must be working toward Licensure
  • 3-5 years of experience within an architectural practice. Industrial project experience a plus.
  • Must have experience in development of architectural details.
  • Must have strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of ICC building code, Life Safety Code and other applicable codes, along with the ability to interpret and adapt project criteria to achieve compliance
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication/presentation skills
  • Keen attention to detail along with exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to manage time efficiently with little to no supervision
  • Quality focus and the ability to maintain strict adherence to schedule and budget
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project with strong Revit/BIM 360 experience including model creation and 2-D detailing.
  • Valid Driver’s License
