Job Description
Contract administrator supporting the architecture and construction teams in multiple offices throughout the US East Region. Role is based out of our Binghamton, NY office.
Responsibilities:
Supporting Construction:
- Handle projects in construction – Prepares contracts, tracks and distributes contractor startup, including contracts, insurance, and bonds, tracks RFI’s and submittals, processes supplemental instructions, tracks costs and processes payment applications, change orders, and proposal requests. Prepares close-out documents for contractors, including tracking and distributing.
- Assists with correspondence to prime contractors, clients, construction managers, attorneys, and insurance representatives.
Specification Assistance:
- Assist with project specifications, SED paperwork, and reviewing specifications prior to bid.
- Assists in compiling drawings and specifications submissions to clients and SED.
- Prepares and distributes Owner/Contractor agreements.
- General Tasks:
- Provides principal administrative support for the office including drafting correspondence, reports, and spreadsheets; assisting with answering phones; opening and distributing mail.

Qualifications
- Associates degree
- 5 years experience in an office setting
- Very strong computer desktop skills required, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, a strong plus.
- Self-motivated, strong team player
- Highly proactive and detail oriented in a fast paced environment
- Effective communication (verbal and written) in English
- Comfortable communicating with clients/consultants

Past industry experience that would be relevant for this opportunity: Land Development Engineer, EIT, Project Engineer, Civil Engineer, Civil Analyst, work with the City of Cincinnati or City of Columbus, Civil Designer, Project Designer. The salary range for this role is 45,000 to 55,000 USD annually.
