At a time of significant investment in Healthcare Infrastructure, a key component in the delivery of transformational experiences for the NHS and global healthcare systems is the in-depth consideration of re-defining how healthcare is delivered.

Our award-winning Healthcare team is searching for a dynamic Senior Consultant to be responsible for developing our global Healthcare Planning activities while working in collaboration with our ‘Buildings’ and ‘Intelligence’ teams.  

You will oversee the growth of our Healthcare Planning practice, focussing upon the delivery of Strategic Healthcare Advisory services including strategic planning, functional programming, visioning facilitation, process improvement and change management through to post occupancy evaluations and operational planning.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Contribution to defining our global healthcare consulting offering and leading a team of healthcare planners working on projects locally and as part of a global team
  • Lead in the development of our business for Healthcare Planning solutions including tendering for new contracts, building relationships with clients and successful pre-positioning with global healthcare clients
  • Working with healthcare clients including executives, senior managers, senior clinicians and service users as well as engaging with the wider consultant team
  • Providing healthcare planning services ranging from population needs assessments, market analysis, healthcare analytics, activity / capacity modelling through to the development of operational policies, schedules of accommodation and further briefing information
  • Co-ordinate and write business cases to support securing capital funding for investment in healthcare developments
  • Oversee and lead multiple projects through initial phases of strategic planning of healthcare facilities
  • Develop proposals and direct marketing activities
  • Provide guidance and direction to ensure presentations and deliverables meet a high standard of graphic quality that exceed client expectations and advance the reputation of the firm
  • Ability to define scope of work, tasks, schedules and budget, manage projects / teams and be an individual contributor
  • Oversee project planning, budget, scheduling, quality control and deliverables
  • Provide technical guidance and creative solutions to resolve challenges
  • Position yourself and Arcadis IBI Group as a thought leader in Strategic Healthcare Planning across the UK and globally

 

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

 

  • Recognized as a thought leader in the strategic planning of healthcare services and facilities with 10 to 15 years in the UK Healthcare sector
  • Core understanding of the future direction of travel of health care services in the UK, including the development of whole system integrated care services and the impact of the NHS digital agenda on future facilities requirements
  • Business development experience with healthcare services and facilities
  • Expertise creating innovative solutions for both public and private healthcare services and facilities
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment with a sense of urgency and manage several projects and priorities at one time
  • Should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Project
  • Ability to research and lead business development in healthcare related work
