Job Description

We are searching for a Marketing Specialist - Manager who will act as a key member of the team working directly with staff at all levels to support our practice marketing efforts. You will manage a small team comprising a Proposal Coordinator and Graphic Designer and liaise with the management team to develop and deploy effective marketing, business development, and pre-positioning strategies across all our service areas. 

You will also support interview preparation (strategy, content, and material), track and coordinate conferences, support pre-positioning efforts for future projects, and prepare advanced marketing materials collaborating closely with architects, engineers, graphic designers, project managers, and other team members to ensure our marketing materials engage and interest our prospective clients.

Most of the things you’ll work on:

  • Preparation of qualification packets, brochures, project sheets, award submissions, interviews, and resumes, including content development with technical staff and layout, editing, and production with production staff
  • Ensure high professionalism and quality is communicated through content, layout, and the use of visuals that is consistent with the corporate brand and vision
  • Coordinating with marketing team for development of graphical content
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and implementation of regional marketing initiatives such as sponsorships and special events
  • Supporting tracking of opportunities for the local office market and client related searches
  • Conducting research for practice leads and senior management
  • Job-specific quality control and assurance tasks
  • Develop a social media strategy for the practice that leverages LinkedIn and other platforms to publicize our work and initiatives.
  • Oversee the implementation of website updates

Qualifications

You'll need to have:

  • You can effectively and respectfully communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a variety of different formats
  • You can manage your time strategically planning and prioritizing multiple deadlines and ongoing projects
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • You enjoy problem solving and can independently develop solutions to problems as they arise
  • You can work quickly, but accurately
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in the marketing field
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Create Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent writing, editing, and grammar skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail
  • Enthusiastic attitude and strong work ethic
  • Must work well independently and as part of teams
