Job Description

We are a collaborative holistically minded, team of approximately 100 employees in 4 Ohio offices who work globally with other IBI offices on a range of projects using technology to define urban improvements. The Columbus and/or New Lexington offices are hiring a Project Manager for our Water/Waste Water sector in Ohio.

 Most of the things you’ll work on:

  • Provide Project Management for water resource treatment, collection and distribution projects
  • Work directly with clients, design staff, EPA, and other regulatory agencies in order to obtain permits and approvals for projects. 
  • Develop business within Ohio and the Midwest
  • Assist with managing and growing a staff of 20 plus Water/Wastewater professionals

 

Qualifications

  • Licensed (PE) Civil Engineer or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • 5 years + experience in the Water/Wastewater sector. Experience in managing clients, staff, and budgets for Water Resources projects
  • Experience with alternative funding and procurement projects (ie design build) a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, (AutoCAD is a plus)
  • Ability to prepare studies, develop and manage water/wastewater projects, estimate project costs, and work with a design team 
  • Ability to develop and mentor staff
  • Good communication and client relationship skills
