Our Portland office is searching for an experienced Project Architect to join its growing team.

·       Assists in the preparation of Architectural designs and drawings including preliminary concepts and sketches

·       Assists with preliminary analysis of codes and other regulatory requirements

·       Assists in the preparation of permit submission packages

·       Assists with basic coordination of consultant activity

·       Assists with preparation and revision of construction drawings

·       Researches building products for value and efficiency

·       Assists with the review of working drawings prepared by in-house staff or outside consultants
Prepares revisions to existing working drawings and other documents prepared by staff and/or outside consultants

·       Administers and maintains all project files and drawings

·       Assists with the preparation of presentations, graphics

·       Participates in client presentations

·       May participate in marketing and business development efforts

·       Ideal candidates must be a team player who is well organized, detail oriented, focused, design driven, accurate and able to meet deadlines under pressure

·       University Degree - Bachelor/Masters of Architecture

·       Recent graduate, or up to 3 years’ experience in an Architectural Design firm

·       Strong technical competency, proficient in Revit and SketchUp

·       Must have strong communication and teamwork skills

·       Knowledge of Educational Architecture, specifically K-12, preferred
