Role description

Our landscape architecture practice, comprised of over 150 place makers, has developed a reputation for excellence in the design of both natural and urban environments. This multi-faceted reputation and our ability to collaborate effectively in team situations have led to long-standing relationships with our clients. As landscape architects, we create healthy and beautiful spaces, the success of which is measured by the people who enjoy it, enliven it, and make it their own, but also by the natural systems that flourish within it. These are places for life.

Our Boston office is looking for a Landscape Architectural Student Intern to join our team for a 3-month summer program. In this role you will work with Landscape Architects and technologists to prepare conceptual designs and assist with design development and construction documentation Collaborate with other disciplines including planning, architects, and engineers.

Role accountabilities

• Prepare drawings using CAD.
• Assist with all phases of a project, conceptual design through construction administration.
• Assist with the creation of presentation drawings using Adobe Suite and SketchUp
• Participate in site investigation and monitoring of construction.

Qualifications & Experience

• Candidates should be currently enrolled in an accredited landscape architecture program or landscape architectural technology program.
• Excellent graphic communication skills
• Proven technical skills in AutoCAD, Sketchup and Adobe Suite
• Exposure to technical detailing, drafting and construction practices desired.
• Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
