POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Project Managerto provide oversight, leadership, and coordination, Service level management for Managed Network services and IT Invest projects as well as the network portions of site-based projects. This position will be the primary interface to the out-sourced Project Engineering team and will be accountable for overall project delivery by the team. This Project Manager will be involved in projects such as: new site build outs, site moves, site closures, site restructuring, technology feasibility studies, new technology implementation, and new service/process implementations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strong knowledge and working experience in designing networks.
Strong knowledge and working experience in troubleshooting, problem and performance analyzing
Strong knowledge and working experience in Firewalls, IPS, Loadbalancers
Good knowledge and working experience of traffic analyzing with wireshark and Netscout
Strong knowledge and working experience of WAN accelerators (Eg Riverbed), WLAN networks and Load balancers (Cisco ACE) designs.
Strong Network and Security troubleshooting Skills
Knowledge and working experience of Bandwidth and performance analysis tools ( Packeteer, NetQOS, MRTG etc) and Traffic analysis tools (Netscout)
Hands-on experience of various routing and switching protocols -EIGRP,OSPF,BGP and QOS, STP, HSRP, RPR,RPR+,SSO
Hands on experience with QOS configuration and troubleshooting and various router/switch redundancy/failover protocols - HSRP,RPR,RPR+,SSO etc
Understanding of SBR and RADIUS authentication and working knowledge of Juniper Steel Belt Radius
Good understanding and Experience on WLAN technology (802.11a/g/n)
Experience in handling of Juniper Firewall.
Experience in handling of 2 factor authentication ( RSA Authentication Manager)
Understanding of DNS and DHCP designs and hands on knowledge on IP management tools
Experience in handling and troubleshooting below devices:
switch: 35xx, 37xx, 29xx, 45xx, 65xx, Nexus
router: 2800,3800,7200,6500,3750,4500 etc
service modules: ACE, FWSM, ASA,
Juniper SSL SA appliance, SBR,
Proteus’ DNS & NTP appliance,
Cisco WLAN Controller and access points
Identifying route cause of the problem and escalating to re-solver group
Vendor coordination for incident creation and escalation
Follow ups on open incidents until resolution
Familiarity with ITIL process
Should have very good communication and time planning skills
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS :
Maintaining the agreed SLA/KPI with Client
Maintaining good team collaboration
Taking ownership of process and to make visible improvements in the same
Perform tasks without escalation and to actively take part in shift handover and take over
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION | WORK EXPERIENCE | SKILLS
Educational Qualification: Minimum Requirements : Any Degree/ Diploma (From reputed Institution)
Work Experience:
Minimum Work Ex. Required
7 to 10 years ( Enterprise routing, L3-7 switching, network security, VPN, enterprise network design and implementation)
3 to 5 years: QOS design, Advanced IP Routing, Firewall technologies/management
Technical Skills and Capabilities (Primary - Must have) : CCIE / CCNP
Technical Skills and Capabilities (Secondary - Nice to have)
Juniper Certifications, CheckPoint Certifications. Cisco Wireless
