Job Description

Minimum 5 years working in a Tandem systems engineer capacity with knowledge and experience in the configuration and maintenance of Client NonStop NS 2400 systems, including security, performance and tuning, capacity planning and software currency through annual upgrades, disaster recovery and communications to Point of Sale devices and other computing platforms.

Thorough knowledge of Client Operating system, including TACL, FUP, SCF, BACKUP, RESTORE, PERUSE,SPOOLCOM, SAFEGUARD, DSM/SCM, DSM/TC, EDIT, TEDIT, MEASURE, NETBATCH, OSM, PATHWAY,WEBVIEWPOINT, OSS, TMF and SQL/MP.

Working experience with the following NonStop 3rd party products: NTP, SecureSSL, RemoteProxy, Control, AO, Vision,POSTA, Golden Gate, Connect:Direct, Overlord, XYGATE products.

Functional knowledge of Base 24-POS business applications.

Enforcement of security and participation in audits to bring Tandem/Client NonStop systems in compliance with PCI rregulations

Functional knowledge of office administration products Service Now, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio.

Excellent written and oral communication skills. Focused planning and organization.

Ability to independently research problems and provide solutions

Self-motivated with strong team and interpersonal skills.
