In IAG GBS, every day is different. Finance role in DOC team gives an opportunity to perform, monitor, validate end to end process for Direct Operating Costs (DOC), participate in creation of new team and gives opportunity to work in interesting but also complex airline industry.
Job Description
- Management over DOC (Direct Operational Costs) processes delivered by IAG GBS – including the approval, control and analysis of DOC invoices and spend, their mismatches clarification till final resolution versus contracted conditions with Group Procurement, IT, Business and/or suppliers,
- Ensure PO compliance as per the agreed procedures
- Monitoring of daily DOC Team’s performance and process execution according to agreed procedures and Service Level Agreement (SLA) for Contract Leakage, Reporting and Analysis; analyzing and presenting results regularly
- Support internal and external audit as well as risk identification process as required
- Management over DOC process documentation (DTPs) and process maps, including changes and proper approval’s flow
- Continuous improvement in own area of responsibility; simplification and automation of DOC process and its reporting feasibilities and accuracy
- Constructively challenge analytics processes and methodologies, recommending changes that enhance and constantly improve the quality of output
- Management over complex DOC queries resolution from suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Conducting process failure root cause analysis
- Communicate expectations, goals and feedback to the group regularly and resolve any concerns or issues actively
- Developing Key Talents in the team to ensure growth opportunities
Qualifications
- MS degree in Finance, Economics, Maths or related fields
- Knowledge of working in international financial & accounting organisation preferably in the Finance Planning and Analysis, Record to Report (RTR) and/or Procure to Pay (PtP)
- Experience in supplier and contract management, data capturing, analysing and presenting. Practical experience in Direct operating costs or airline environment would be an asset
- Good understanding of corporate compliance & controls standards and practical experience in applying them in the accounting space
- Experience in managing an operational team (4-10 people) with a proven track record of success
- Business partnering experience with a different level of stakeholders in a fast-moving and agile business environment
- Working proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and SAP HANA (VIM); experience in BRF+ and SAP Ariba would be an asset
- Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to evaluate, analyze and solve problems; excellent problem solving and data analyzing skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence, align diverse views and gain consensus, providing clarity and direction on what is to be achieved and break down barriers that get in the way of effective team working
- Excellent people manager with the ability to inspire, lead, build and deliver through high performing teams
- Stakeholder management skills across a diverse geographic region and at multiple levels, with the gravitas to engage with and influence stakeholders
- The ability to operate effectively in an environment with tight deadlines and finite resources
- Commitment to service excellence, process improvements and automation; strong customer focus; excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Language skills: Fluency in English
- Willingness to travel (~20% of the time) and work in a multi-site/location environment
