Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Tech Product Owner to join our team at IAG Tech. This role will be key to the success of our project to replace the current ERP for payroll, personnel administration and all associated processes, including integrations with other systems. The ideal candidate will need to deeply understand the business objectives and translate them to the technical team, ensuring the quality and value of deliverables.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the ERP replacement project: Coordinate and manage the implementation project of a new payroll ERP, ensuring correct integration with other systems of the company.
  • Product management: Define and maintain the product backlog, prioritizing user stories and ensuring that the technical team is working on the most valuable tasks.
  • Quality of delivery: Ensure that the solutions delivered meet the quality standards and requirements of the business, carrying out necessary tests and validations.
  • Communication and alignment: Act as a bridge between the business and the technical team, facilitating communication and problem solving. Ensure that all stakeholders are aligned and have visibility of the project's progress.
  • Understand and translate business objectives: Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and prioritize requirements. Ensure that the technical team clearly understands the needs and objectives of the business.
  • Monitoring and continuous improvement: Evaluate the performance of the new post-implementation ERP system, collecting feedback and promoting continuous improvements to maximize the value delivered to the business.
  • Report to the Tech Product Owner of the Corporate, Human Resources, and People and Diversity business areas.

Qualifications

  • Experience in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll is a must.
  • Previous experience: At least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, preferably in payroll ERP implementation projects and personnel administration.
  • Technical knowledge:
      • Strong understanding of ERP systems and experience with system integrations. Working knowledge of agile methodologies.
      • Proven knowledge on Spanish labour regulation, including Social Security and Taxes processes.
  • Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice versa.
  • Native Spanish and High English language.
  • Customer orientation: Focus on the internal customer, ensuring that the implemented ERP system meets the needs of the business and improves operational efficiency.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing complex projects, with demonstrated skills in project planning, execution, and tracking.
  • Analytical skills: Ability to analyze complex problems, identify viable solutions, and make informed decisions.
  • Proven knowledge on Spanish labour regulation, including Social Security and Taxes processes.
  • Certifications: Certification in product management (CSPO, SAFe PO/PM) or project management (PMP, PRINCE2) will be a plus.

Other desirable skills:

Knowledge of People Administration processes and tools, with experience working with Success Factors.
