Job Description

Own all aspects of Data Governance, Risk and Compliance within IAG’s NOW Platform such that Data is trusted and protected appropriately.  Identify and communicate the goals and objectives of GRC activities within the NOW Platform.  Own and ensure compliance to all relevant data policies and standards within IAG for the NOW Platform.  Own the IT Controls Framework and associated IT Controls Testing for the NOW Platform.

You will also 

  • Act as the “go to” SME for IAG Tech for all Data within NOW Platform 

  • Own the IT Control Framework for the NOW Platform and responsible for ensuring that all periodic IT Control testing is performed on time, using system based preventative controls wherever possible to keep exception management to a minimum  

  • Be the single point of contact for Audits (both internal & external pertaining to the NOW Platform and own any audit actions arising  

  • Own, Govern and Manage all User Access Management Policies & Processes for the Platform and ensure compliance 

  • Define, Own, Govern and Manage the Role Based Access Matrix, including Privileged Access, for the NOW Platform to ensure principle of least privilege 

  • Define, own and chair appropriate governance, compliance and risk boards 

  • Responsible for the completeness, correctness and compliance of all data types and attributes held in IAG’s NOW Platform 

  • Ensure Data Stewards are held to account for data they own 

  • Engage with projects to ensure that all needs for data and access are met whilst ensuring compliance to the relevant standards and policies within project timeframes 

  • Responsible for the continuous improvement plan for Governance, Compliance and Quality of all data within the NOW Platform 

  • Identifying and approving all requirements, use cases, user stories, etc. to support new or improving Data Quality, Compliance and reducing Risk profile 

  • Own and manage the Configuration Management Service 

  • Communicate and report on all activities in scope relating to Service and Data 

  • Act as a coach to improve understanding of data types and their use in the NOW Platform; with the aim that the data is trusted and can be consumed and used with ease throughout the organisation 

Qualifications

To be successful you will need 

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience 

  • ServiceNow CSA Certification 

  • ServiceNow CMDB Fundamentals - MicroCert and badges 

  • ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM) Fundamentals 

  • Service Now Discovery Fundamentals 

  • Service Now Service Mapping Fundamentals  

  • ITIL V4 Foundation 

  • Extensive experience of governing and managing compliance and risk in the NOW Platform across all classes of data in a highly regulated, complex enterprise environment with multiple integration points 

  • Extensive track record of defining, implementing role-based access in the NOW Platform 

  • Proven track record of defining and managing IT Controls Frameworks and IT Controls Testing within the NOW Platform 

  • Experience of managing outsourced services 

  • Business partnering, working as a valued partner with internal and external stakeholders across a diverse stakeholder base, delivering a value-added service to customers 

  • Proven track record of successful stakeholder management at a senior level, with a proven ability of influencing and persuading across the organisation
