Job Description

The treasury change manager is a finance position within IAG Treasury that supports the Head of Treasury Operations. This role offers the opportunity to be involved in shaping the future of the treasury department through delivering change to meet continuous demand from market changes, accounting, regulation and centralization of OpCo’s. The role is most suited to a candidate who has experience working within Treasury and a good understanding of managing change and complex system functionality

Accountabilities:

  • Lead treasury projects and ensure they are implemented within budget, to timescales and deliver the business requirements.
  • Coordination business, various internal and external IT teams, procurement and other stakeholders within the working group to ensure project delivery
  • Review complexity of treasury requirements and align with stakeholders involved in project delivery
  • Drive the delivery of regulatory change projects in treasury under EMIR, MIFDII, MMF, SWIFT and SEPA, and ensure compliance is embedded within the business processes and systems configuration for each OpCo under the centralized model.
  • Deliver Group Treasury initiatives on front office and back office process improvements, standardization, simplification and cost reduction.
  • Manage the integration of new OpCos to the Group centralized model responsible for:

- Leading all phases of project, from kick off to business as usual

- Review and providing challenge to project delivery and timescales by understanding the scope of treasury requirements, estimating timescales and applying governance framework

- Working with external/internal parties and key stakeholders to agreeing roles and responsibilities for successful project delivery

- Provide treasury expertise to project plans, ensuring all relevant tasks required to deliver the project have clear ownership

- Leading working groups, steerco discussions and drive delivery of timescales, managing dependencies, risks, issues and taking corrective actions to ensure timescales are met and risks are resolved

- Manage the project PMO to ensure project administration and documentation are updated and communicated to the stakeholders

  • Lead cross Opco and treasury projects:

- Oversee, coordinate and lead treasury standardization projects across opcos

- Understanding the user requirements, provide subject matter expertise to Opco projects that    require treasury expertise – CFS/SAP enhancements

- Leading working groups, steerco discussions to ensure Treasury outcomes are delivered

  • Manage of the treasury budget by creating business cases for project as well as preparing the annual forecast for BAU task. Creation of purchase orders, processing invoices and tracking spend with 3rd party treasury suppliers – Bloomberg, Everis, Murex, SWIFT, DTCC, Regis-TR etc.

Qualifications

  • Education to degree level or equivalent.
  • Understanding of treasury products used to hedge exposures in FX, IR, COM, and investment products MMF, Depo’s
  • Understanding of treasury end to end processes and treasury system functionality
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build relationships at all levels of the Group, as well as identify and deliver key messages from complex information.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently in identifying and meeting business needs.
  • Ability to represent the Group with professionalism and integrity when dealing with external parties and suppliers.
  • Willing to travel
