Job Description

We are a leading Spanish airline looking to expand our team with a new Generative AI Tech Product Owner. This exciting role requires a highly motivated and experienced individual with a passion for cutting-edge technologies and a strong background in data management and innovation. As the new Generative AI Tech Product Owner, you will be responsible implementing Generative AI use cases to revolutionize the airline industry.


1. Product Strategy: Deliver the Product Strategy and goals for our Generative AI products, aligning them with customer needs. Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in Generative AI, and competitive landscape to continuously refine and adapt the product strategy. Liaise with the PoC / PoV Product Owner for new POCs

2. Roadmap Planning: Coordinate with Business to prioritize features, enhancements, and improvements in the product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer value. Create and maintain a clear product roadmap that outlines the short-term and long-term development plans for Generative AI products.

3. Requirements Gathering: Work closely with Business to elicit and document detailed product requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of user needs and pain points. Translate high-level ideas into well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications that guide the development team.

4. Agile Development: Act as the voice of the customer during agile development cycles, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-up meetings. Manage the product backlog to ensure the most valuable and impactful features are delivered in a timely manner.

5. Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong collaboration between technical and non-technical teams, facilitating effective communication and knowledge sharing. Regularly update stakeholders on the progress of Generative AI products, soliciting feedback and incorporating it into the development process.

6. User Experience and Design: Collaborate with design teams to ensure the user experience aligns with the product vision and meets user expectations, providing valuable input on UI/UX design decisions.

7. Quality Assurance and Testing: Work with quality assurance teams to define testing requirements and ensure the product meets high standards of quality, reliability, and performance.

8. Product Launch and Adoption: Lead the successful launch of Generative AI products to drive awareness, adoption, and customer satisfaction. Monitor product performance and gather user feedback post-launch to identify areas for improvement and iterate on the product.

9. Reference: Be a technical reference: Act as a technical authority by comprehending system architecture and proposing streamlined system integrations. Demonstrate expertise in various systems, identifying optimal pathways for seamless integration.


  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or equivalent business experience is a plus. Architecture experience is a plus.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Product Owner or similar role, with a track record of successfully delivering complex software products, ideally in the field of Generative AI, Narrow AI or related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of Generative AI concepts, machine learning fundamentals, and emerging trends in AI research.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience working within agile development teams. JIRA knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset and data-driven approach to decision-making, with the ability to use metrics and feedback to iterate on product features.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills, ability to navigate ambiguity, and willingness to take ownership of challenges and opportunities
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Experience in the airline industry, Business Architecture, Cloud Engineering is a plus.
