As an experienced CICD Automation Engineer Github for our Software Engineering and Delivery function, you will be responsible for the and optimisation of processes to facilitate rapid deployments, whilst developing and improving Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery principles and tools.

You will also Develop and improve Automated Testing processes and tools, and proactively improve all aspects of quality within the Product Team, improving how they deliver new and existing features with minimal issues.

Ensure continuous development, continuous testing, continuous integration, continuous deployment and continuous monitoring of software applications within Software Engineering & Delivery.

Form part of the existing automation team, delivering automation as per requirements and best practice.

Build, maintain and add to existing automation frameworks.

Work with key stakeholders to ensure consistent adoption from across Software Engineering, review and modify the CI/CD principles, iteratively.

Evaluate test cases for inclusion in regression.

Integrate the test framework into the continuous integration.

Automate for newly integrated features and develop the relevant toolsets.

Collaborate with software developers and other engineers to deliver the highest quality products in a cost-effective manner.

Partner with other QA & software engineers across Product Teams to automate the execution and verification of reports created by various channels.

Review product requirements and functional and design specifications to determine and prepare automated test cases.

Automation experience across web based applications, end to end, functional, non functional and regression testing

Demonstrable experience of software automation and of working in agile development (task estimation, test & deployment automation, continuous integration). Experience and proficiency in automating and optimising processes.

Experience of tools like Selenium, Jenkins, GitHub, Appium, Jersey, REST Assured or equivalent.

Demonstrable expertise in a specific specialism and/or broad technical expertise.

Experience of developing in an agile environment is highly desirable, including unit testing, behaviour driven development, and continuous integration/continuous deployment.

Experience of operating across multiple countries and cultures is desirable, but not essential.
