Job Description

As a Product Owner within the Cyber Security Team, you will serve as the customer proxy, responsible for working with Product Management and other stakeholders - including other Product Owners.

Additional responsibilities will be to define stories and prioritising the team backlog to streamlining the execution of project priorities, while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components for the team(s).

You will also play a significant role in maximizing the value produced by the team(s), while the overall product implementation is contributing to minimizing the cyber risk.

A track record of owning and managing projects, ideally in an IT and/ or Cyber security organisation is desirable.

Qualifications

Ability to translate cyber security objectives into project structures, project deliverables and plans ensuring alignment to business plan goals, working with third-party suppliers and internal stakeholders. 

Strong evidence of using project management skills and techniques and strong ability to manage workload, time, costs and resources. Demonstrates excellent planning, organisation and forecasting skills. Challenges focus of projects to meet targets and flags up identified gaps.

Ability to manage projects in a fast-paced global environment with tight deadlines, finite resources and conflicting priorities. Excellent stakeholder management skills. Demonstrates ability to influence, challenge and engage effectively at all levels.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work collaboratively, align diverse views and gain consensus, providing clarity on what is to be achieved. Experience of working as a project manager with third-party suppliers, procurement, legal, finance and HR functions.

Experience of project accountability and experience of working at all levels in an organization. Demonstrates a proactive and forward-looking approach to the project such as managing risks and engagement with stakeholders. Recognises when to escalate.

Ability to resolve issues through an objective and analytical approach, creating relevant clarity in areas of ambiguity, developing options and negotiating resolutions.

Effective workshop facilitation and collaboration, excellent analytical skills.
