Job Description

About You
As the IT Programme Manager you will Lead and manage programmes from set-up through to the delivery of the new capabilities and realisation of benefits. You will also take full responsibility for the leadership and successful delivery of programmes to time, cost and quality; Ensuring the successful launch of programmes through the set-up phases, including the programme business case(s), ensuring the creation and maintenance of the programme roadmap.

Additional responsibilities include defining and validating the programme scope, effectively managing change requests, creating programme governance, workstream and tranche structure, including all deliverables, interdependencies, to ensure the programme outcomes are achieved in-line with agreed timescales.

You will also create and manage the programme finances including creating the forecast, approving spend against the budget, and tracking actuals to ensure the programme workstreams and tranches deliver to agreed budget, whilst creating a programme stakeholder management plan and ensuring regular engagement and communication including escalating and resolving any issues.

    Qualifications

    Proven and demonstrable track record of successfully managing and leading programmes in large and complex multinational environments, including coaching, mentoring and capability development

    Demonstrable hands-on experience of using project, programme and portfolio management tools (e.g. MS Project, Portfolio for Jira).

    Proven track record of using project and portfolio management and/or Agile methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, SAFe).

    Demonstrable experience of managing risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies a programme and portfolio level.

    Proven experience of senior stakeholder management (negotiation and influencing) across multinational organisations, including third party suppliers and delivery partners.
