Job Description

Accountabilities

· Manage multiple procurement processes and technologies to support the strategic sourcing cycle

· Run and manage the sourcing processes in Hotel & Transportation Category at all its stages: market analysis, tender process, supplier selection and commercial negotiations, business case and contract drafting.

· Ensure all the Groups standards and procedures are followed throughout the full process

· Recommend and implement new streamlined techniques and processes to improve productivity and efficiency

· Resolve broad and complex procurement processes and systems

· Serve as an expert in guiding procurement colleagues on the use of procurement systems

· Implement simple and clear metrics for governance and success measurement, and performance manages achievement

· Incorporate and embed the use of procurement technology into all appropriate supply chain activities

· Lead on procurement projects to drive continuous improvement for the Group as delegated by the Procurement Lead

· Teach procurement processes to others as required

Qualifications

 

  • Business and financial acumen
  • Relevant degree and/or the ability to demonstrate knowledge of working in an international procurement environment
  • Experience related to Hotel operations or Sales department
  • Ability to write clear, concise management reports and presentations
  • Ability to influence, align diverse views and gain consensus, providing clarity and direction on what is to be achieved and break down barriers that get in the way of effective team working
  • Ability to prioritise and maintain clear focus in constant ambiguity and change
  • Ability to operate effectively in an environment with tight deadlines and finite resource and uncertainty
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage with and influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Commitment to service excellence and process improvement
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory, Spanish as an asset
  • Experience using e-technology in all aspects of the supply chain
  • Demonstrated experience in a procurement buying role, or the mindset required to procure products and services effectively
  • Able to identify opportunities where e-procurement systems can be developed to improve efficiencies of supply chain activities
  • Up to date with current e-procurement best practice
