Platform Development at Investopedia
The Platform team is looking for a great DevOps person to raise the bar for a high-performing team. The Platform team supports all of the infrastructure from development to production for Investopedia. The team is broadly responsible for improving our capacity and flexibility as a development organization. We handle the foundation so that our development teams can focus on safely and quickly improving the site. In addition, the team provides support during incidents, facilitating communication between business and development teams and helping when issues occur to quickly get to the root of the problem.
We are looking for a high skilled individual for automating large scale deployments with modern configuration and deployment management systems on AWS. We value skills delivering and working with Open Source tools and infrastructure. You are self-driven, work well in a team, have great communication skills and bring leading edge skills on Linux, Python, configuration management, CI/CD and Monitoring tools.

The dev team at Investopedia believes in owning their impact and fighting complexity while giving back and having fun. We believe that small, empowered, self-motivated teams can do big things. Our work crosses a wide variety of teams, applications, and technology stacks within Investopedia - collaboration and communication are as important as writing new code. We work primarily with PHP but have started to extract smaller services using Node.js and Python.
