i-nexus is seeking a smart, energetic, digitally savvy and experienced Marketing Manager to plan and drive the marketing activity that will underpin our continued growth. i-nexus is a true success story – a midlands tech start-up that is now the world leader in strategy execution software for large enterprises and a public company, having recently listed on the London Stock Exchange.

i-nexus sells SaaS based enterprise software to large organisations, so what we are looking for is somebody who has broad experience in B2B marketing via web, social (predominantly but not exclusively LinkedIn), on-line and face to face events and digital outbound campaigns. We are heavily focused on content marketing, and we have historically seen significant success through establishing ourselves as the thought leader in strategy execution and using this leadership to build the largest on-line community of strategy execution professionals.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Develop, plan and drive execution of the marketing calendar covering i-nexus channel partner and 3rd party face to face events, on-line events, outbound campaigns. 
  • Manage and develop an internal team of 5 marketing professionals covering digital marketing, content acquisition/development, event marketing, social media marketing and outbound/campaign marketing.
  • Effectively manage 3rd parties providing SEO optimisation, web development, graphic design, PR and other activities.
  • Define and continuously improve the marketing operational processes (Marketing Operating System) and implement new marketing technologies and tools as required.
  • Continuously build, nurture and lead score the community of Strategy Execution professionals based on their behaviour/activity.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to identify and support specific sales focused lead generation campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on the execution of marketing activity via appropriate KPIs.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will have a number of qualities that will enable them to succeed in this role:

  • An effective planner – the ideal candidate will have well developed planning and organisational skills.
  • Solid B2B experience – a number of years of practical marketing experience in a tech vendor or at minimum B2B market will be useful, with at least 2 of those in a management position.
  • Smart and articulate – i-nexus isn’t selling cars or baked beans. The product is enterprise software that helps large organisations to better manage execution of their strategy. The individual who succeeds in this role will be able to understand complex concepts and express them simply and clearly.
  • Strong people skills – the right candidate will be able to motivate the team to achieve more than they believe possible and will be able to work closely with the rest of the i-nexus management team.
