About the opportunity:

We’re looking for a Data Science and Analytics Manager who will be responsible for delivering solutions that continue to innovate and grow our AI product. As well as managing a high-performing team of Data Science Engineers, you’ll report to the CTO and be working alongside our product managers as we evolve Anna, an automated data scientist who is already beginning to transform how businesses use data.

What you'll do:

• Lead and coach a team of data science engineers
• Work across multiple squads to ensure data scientists are adding value effectively
• Directly influence the direction of the product and the data analysis we can provide
• Contribute to the company’s overall technology strategy

About you:

You’re passionate, up to date on new technologies, and have really strong data science and engineering fundamentals. You're a real problem solver who can find solutions that can take both technology ambition and business needs into account.

You love coaching a team and helping others to grow with you. You’re someone who's laid-back, adaptable and wants to have an impact on the product you’re working on.

To be successful in this role you’ll have:

• 10+ years experience in data science and analytics within a commercial environment
• 4+ years of team management experience
• Demonstrated ability in product development and understanding user needs
• The technical know-how to be a sounding board for your team and provide technical direction when needed
• Experience in coaching good engineering behaviours and practice into your team
• A real passion for making an impact in the World of AI and machine learning
