2nd SHIFT (6PM-5AM) with PAY PREMIUM

PRODUCTION TRUSS or WALL BUILDER

Reports To: Plant Manager

FLSA Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt

Purpose: To produce quality manufactured products in a safe and efficient manner.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Work with team members maintaining a positive and supportive attitude
2. Use power and hand tools safely and correctly with an accident rate of 0%
3. Consistently build quality products
4. Use time effectively to achieve maximum production for team
5. Communicate building issues with Team Lead and equipment issues with Maintenance to reduce and eliminate line down time
6. Keep work area clean and organized at all times

Responsibilities

1. Follow all company rules and guidelines in regards to procedures and safety
2. Continuously improve every aspect of position by always having the goal of getting better
3. Ensure all tools and equipment are in good condition and ready for use by checking daily
4. Must be willing to work flexible schedule due to fluctuations in demand

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with general framing or carpentry
• Working knowledge of power tools
• Measuring products using tape measure
• Basic math

Experience

• Working in production environment
• General construction experience
