Reports To: Shipping Supervisor

FLSA Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt

Purpose: Processing EWP cutting orders in a safe and efficient manner.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Operate forklift and chainsaw with safety as top priority achieving accident, incident and material damage rates of 0%

2. Consistently build and bundle orders with 100% accuracy

3. Use time effectively to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity for the team

4. Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory

5. Keep work areas clean and organized at all times

Responsibilities

1. Follow all company rules and guidelines in regards to procedures and safety

2. Arrive to work on time

3. Thoroughly communicate needs and expectations with management and co-workers to foster an understanding of what needs to be accomplished

4. Ensure forklift is in good condition and ready for use by conducting daily inspection every morning

5. Continuously improve every aspect of position by always having the goal of getting better

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to work safely and efficiently in fast-paced environment

• Ability to read and understand simple diagrams

• Knowledge of working with chainsaws and other tools

• Capability of working outside in hot and cold environments

• Basic computer skills

• Planning and organizational skills

Experience

• 6 months operator gas/diesel forklifts in safe manner

• Handling material up to 48' wide
