Job Description
Reports To: Store Manager
FLSA: Hourly/Non-Exempt
Purpose:
To plan, direct and coordinate the delivery of building materials to job sites in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Overseeing the delivery and pick up of materials to/from jobsites - 0 accident rates, no damage to products or property, delivery of correct products to specified locations
- Organizing and prioritizing delivery schedule maintaining flexibility - timely and efficient scheduling to eliminate/reduce overtime
- Ensure proper maintenance of delivery vehicles to include daily inspections and communication of issues
Responsibilities:
- Follow defined company attendance requirements
- Schedule and status deliveries in point-of-sale system
- Print pick tickets and delivery tickets
- Contact Coordinators to confirm deliveries 1 day prior to scheduled delivery date
- Work flexible schedule according to business needs
- Create and follow through on back orders to completion in timely manner
- Provide specified training for direct reports
- Communicate with Warehouse regarding special order and back-order needs

- Proven experience in organizing and scheduling efficient deliveries to construction job sites

& Skills: ►Ability to motivate,

production equipment operates along with general maintenance (read
schematics, troubleshooting, etc.)►Knowledge of
production environment information/material flow, schedules, forecasting and
planningExperience: ►2 years supervising
8-12 individuals in a production assembly environment►1 year overseeing
maintenance of production equipment►1 year of proven
experience in producing and sustaining quality production standards and
