Job Description

Job Title: Facilities & Security Support

Division / Function: HR & Admin
Location: North East & North Central, Nigeria
Reports to: Facilities & Security Coordinator

Role Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Facilities & Security Support to support the efficient management of Husk Nigeria’s facilities and security operations. This role is ideal for someone with foundational experience in facility and/or security management who is looking to develop their career in a fast-paced, impact-driven organization. The successful candidate will work closely with the Facilities & Security Coordinator to ensure safe, secure, and well-maintained office and site environments.

Key Responsibilities

Security Coordination Support

  • Support the coordination of site security across all operational locations.

  • Assist with scheduling and monitoring security personnel activities.

  • Help document and follow up on incidents, breaches, or safety risks.

  • Coordinate with security personnel for visitor access, staff movements, and logistics.

  • Participate in the development and rollout of security awareness training for staff.

Administrative & Logistical Support

  • Maintain and update records of security assessments, facilities reports, and weekly situation reports.

  • Assist in coordinating alarm systems, access control procedures, and emergency drills.

Data & Communication

  • Assist in compiling and analyzing weekly security reports and facility status updates.

  • Ensure accurate documentation of all processes and procedures for reference and audit purposes.

 

Qualifications

  • A degree or diploma in Facility Management, Security Management, Business Administration, or related fields.

  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in energy, telecom, banking, or logistics sectors.

  • Basic knowledge of security protocols, and safety compliance.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.

  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and a proactive attitude.

  • Familiarity with rural operational contexts in Nigeria is an added advantage.

  • Fluency in English; knowledge of local Nigerian languages is a plus.

  • Willingness to travel to plant sites and rural areas as needed.

Salary

Negotiable based on experience.
