We are seeking a highly skilled experienced and dynamic Collections Manager with 6-8
years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading our
credit collection efforts, managing a team of collection executives, and ensuring timely and
effective recovery of outstanding debts. The successful candidate will possess strong
leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in credit and collections management.
What this will entail:
- Own and lead the collections process for both B2B and B2C segments, ensuring timely and efficient recovery of outstanding payments.
- Develop and implement robust collections strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize recovery rates and reduce delinquency.
- Recruit, Supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of collection agents, ensuring high performance and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and customers, addressing queries and resolving issues related to overdue accounts.
- Onboard, coordinate and evaluate third party collection agencies.
- Prepare and run reports, analyse data pertaining to collections and use insights to streamline collection processes.
- Work closely with other departments, such as Sales, Customer Service, and Finance, to streamline collections processes and improve customer satisfaction.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with collections, including fraud and NPA.
Qualifications
Who should apply:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field. A master's. Degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- 6-8 years of experience in credit and collections.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google workspace.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to adapt to diverse environments and work collaboratively in team.
- Candidates with experience in credit collection.
Additional Information
Location of this role is Patna, Bihar.
Travelling is also required.
