Job Description
- Understand customer personas and credit needs across customer cohorts be it based on size of client and/or industry segment they operate in. And accordingly, identify relevant lending partners and build partnerships and programs for enabling financing for clients transacting on the platform.
- Negotiate best lending rates and drive alignment on commercials, credit policy, and operational processes for a mutually beneficial partnership, close legal documentation and onboarding of the partners.
- Own and achieve business targets including those for new partner onboarding, disbursements, volumes and profitability.
- Play an active role for driving business volumes with each partner and ensuring scale up of partnership- driving key relationships with partners ensuring smooth flow of operations and managing escalations, monitoring and ensuring implementation of key projects.
- Support in tech integration on all aspects of partnerships across Credit, Operations, Risk Management, Technology and Product.
Qualifications
- MBA/CA from institutes of repute (Tier1/Tier 2 schools).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development in lending domain.
- Background in driving business through stakeholder/ partner management.
- Individual with network in the banking and NBFC space an added advantage.
- Understanding of Credit/Legal Documentation/Financial Products.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, willingness to travel to drive business.
- Willing to build from scratch to scale, comfortable creating structure in chaos.
