Job Description

Post-Graduate Year Internship –  Starting Spring/Summer 2021

Hummingbird Scientific’s Post-graduate year internship program has been a successful and productive program for more than ten years. Typically, interns have just received an undergraduate degree and want to spend the year after graduation gaining practical experience in a scientific or engineering field. You do not have to be an engineer or even want to be one—many of our most successful interns have had backgrounds in chemistry. But a general interest in engineering or science is important.

Our interns have pursued any number of paths after leaving Hummingbird Scientific, many ending up at highly ranked graduate schools. Internships are a great stepping stone in building up practical experience in research and lab projects. Assuming you do a great job, we are happy to provide you with a strong recommendation as you move on to the next step in your educational or professional pursuits.

Opportunities typically start in the summer and last up to a year.
