Job Description
The House of Commons’ Office of the Sergeant-at-Arms and Corporate Security is currently looking to staff the Supervisor, Accreditation position.
This position requires on-site presence five (5) days per week.
The Supervisor, Accreditation is responsible for overseeing personnel accreditation and personnel security screening program for a diverse range of clients across the Parliamentary Precinct and constituency offices. The position ensures the secure, efficient, and compliant management of personnel access while supporting the organization's overall security objectives. Additionally, the supervisor provides leadership, guidance, and quality assurance to ensure accreditation and screening processes are delivered consistently and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
The supervisor will be providing guidance on accreditation requirements at all levels, and act as a key liaison with internal and external partners.
The role also includes managing workflow and supporting, coaching, and overseeing a team of security screening analysts. The Supervisor is responsible for identifying, reporting, and escalating risks and security-related issues to management, and for providing recommendations to support informed decision-making and risk mitigation.

Qualifications
Education:
- Successful completion of post-secondary education or an acceptable combination of education, training and relevant experience.
Experiences:
- Experience in delivering personnel security screening services and programs.
- Experience providing training, guidance and support to employees on personnel accreditation and security screening processes, policies and procedures.
- Experience using digital equipment, software applications, and information management systems that supports personnel accreditation and security screening services
- Experience briefing management on personnel security accreditation matters, including emerging issues, risks, policy interpretation, and procedural improvement opportunities.
- Experience conducting comprehensive assessments and reviews of complex personnel security screening files and making recommendations based on established policies, procedures, and standards.
- Experience providing leadership, direction, and recommendation to management and stakeholders on personnel accreditation and security screening matters.
- Experience supervising, coaching, mentoring, and developing staff in a service-oriented and security-focused environment.
Assets:
- Experience in analyzing, interpreting, and communicating data; producing reports; and providing debriefs on accreditation service issues.
- Experience delivering identification and access card services.
