Job Description
Are you a motivated student enrolled in a post-secondary cooperative education program (co-op) and eager to embark on a transformative work experience? Look no further! Join us and be part of a dynamic team where every day presents an opportunity to work where history is made!
The House of Commons hires co-op students throughout the year for diverse opportunities across various service areas. These full-time placements (35 hours per week) typically last about 16 weeks and are available during the 2026–2027 academic year, covering the spring/summer, fall, and winter terms.
Co-op students can make meaningful contributions across a wide range of fields such as:
- Administrative support, client service.
- Accounting, commerce, procurement and contracting.
- Communications, linguistics, graphic/web design.
- Architecture, interior design.
- Engineering, computer science, data science, cybersecurity, information management.
- Broadcasting, audiovisual support.
- Compensation, talent management, occupational health and safety, labour relations, project management.
- Trades, culinary arts.

Qualifications
Education:
- Current enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited post-secondary institution.
- Registration in a co-op program.
Asset:
- Fluency in both official languages (English and French).
