Tom & Phil set up Honest Burgers from a tent, serving burgers and chips at parties and festivals. We’ve now got over 45 restaurants across the UK. We make British beef patties in our own butchery and rosemary chips that are cut and cooked daily in our chipping room. Every restaurant serves local beers from neighboring breweries, and many of our restaurants serve local burgers using ingredients from nearby food heroes. We’re proud of what we’ve achieved over the last 10 years, but we’re even more excited about what we're aiming to achieve in the future.    

Pretty much everything on our menu is prepared at the Honest Prep Kitchen, we have our own butchery, chipping room, and space to prepare the sauces and sides too. Working in the kitchen here requires a lot of teamwork, there's repetitive heavy lifting, which can be very physically demanding. We say it's like a free gym membership.

Part of your craft will be helping to transport goods, using machinery to cut our potatoes and part cook them in large quantities, working in the butchery, and ensuring your working area is clean and tidy all the time.
 

We don't need people with experience for this position as we'll teach you everything you need to know. But what we do need is somebody who wants to work in a team and who's willing to learn.

• Starting pay is £10 per hour
• Guaranteed weekly hours contracted (we think zero-hour contracts are naff)
