Senior Data Analyst
- Full-time
Company Description
Homzmart is an end to end community that connects home professionals with homeowners who can browse home designs, furniture, accessories and products and also can find reviews, referring professionals, take advice from professionals and read articles about home improvement.
Job Description
Build and maintain dashboards covering GMV, AOV, ROAS, CAC, conversion rate, and related operational metrics across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Logistics
• Write and validate SQL queries against the Company's data warehouse, reconciling figures across multiple sources, including order data, advertising platforms, web analytics, and customer support systems
• Investigate data discrepancies end-to-end, identifying and resolving root causes rather than simply reporting
inconsistencies
• Partner directly with Commercial, Marketing, and Operations stakeholders to scope requests, challenge assumptions, and raise concerns where a request risks producing a misleading result
• Take ownership of the accuracy of all deliverables, validating findings against source data prior to sign-off and
documenting the validation performed
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy, independently identifying priorities, planning workload, and determining the appropriate course of action with minimal supervision
• Communicate clearly and confidently with senior management, consistently substantiating recommendations and conclusions with data
• Apply AI tools as a means of enhancing productivity and the quality of analytical output, rather than as a substitute for independent judgment
• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, revisiting and refining deliverables rather than settling for an initial version
Qualifications
- A minimum of four years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis, preferably within e-commerce, retail, or marketplace businesses
• Strong command of SQL, including the ability to write and debug multi-table joins, window functions, and aggregations across large and imperfect datasets
• A demonstrated track record of independently verifying one's own work, including cross-checking metrics via multiple calculation methods rather than accepting the first result produced
• Experience working with both structured and unstructured data sources, with the ability to architect coherent and actionable outputs from them
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey data-driven findings to non-technical stakeholders without loss of nuance
• A strong sense of ownership, favoring the early escalation of issues and proposed solutions over the silent delivery of work that has not been fully validated
