Role Overview:
The Catalogue Content Specialist plays a key role in shaping the customer shopping experience by crafting accurate, structured, and SEO-optimized product content across Homzmart’s online catalogue. This role focuses on product data, taxonomy, titles, attributes, and descriptions.
You will work within our product and catalogue team, ensuring every listing is consistent, searchable, and conversion-ready. Your day-to-day tasks will revolve around writing, organizing, and updating large volumes of structured product content, optimized for both customer experience and search performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Write and edit product titles, short and long descriptions, and attribute-level data (e.g., dimensions, material, color ) for volume of SKUs
Ensure all content follows a consistent tone, format, and structure based on category-specific guidelines
Apply SEO best practices and targeted keywords to improve visibility and ranking on search engines and internal search
Use Homzmart’s CMS and catalogue tools to upload, track, and audit product content across multiple categories
Conduct regular content quality checks and updates to ensure ongoing accuracy, especially as catalogues grow
Collaborate with catalogue operations, buying/merchandising, and design teams to support new product launches and category expansions
Benchmark competitor product listings to enhance clarity, appeal, and keyword coverage
Interpret basic performance data (e.g., CTR, bounce rate) to iterate and improve content effectiveness
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience writing structured product content for e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, or catalogues
Solid understanding of SEO writing techniques, especially for product/category pages
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Magento, Shopify, or similar CMS tools
Comfortable working with structured data (Excel, Google Sheets) and large SKU volumes
Strong attention to detail, grammar, and consistency—especially across repetitive content
Ability to work quickly, manage content pipelines, and adapt to changing catalogues
