Job Summary:

We’re looking for an incredible data guru to build out a best-in-class data practice for our exciting home-vertical marketplace. You’ll be the go-to person for anything data-related, a master of web analytics, data mining, and manipulation to deliver meaningful insight-driven change. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable taking on the technical challenges of implementing analytics systems, whilst also being able to communicate complex cohort analysis and strategic recommendations to non-technical audiences. You’ll be a business partner to our comercial, marketing, growth and content teams and be at the heart of key decision making and reporting across the business. You’ll have access to the latest data analytics tools and work across a diverse range of data sets, setting the KPI direction across the full scope of the business. Key Responsibilities

● Manage the data strategy, from data collection and data hygiene to data system implementation and maintenance

● Establish the key KPIs for each department, through insight-driven analysis of the most meaningful levers to drive growth

● Work closely with the product team to establish the A/B testing calendar, to help drive the prioritization of the product roadmap and improve B2C and B2B site experiences and conversion

● Create well-visualized dashboards and core reports for the business and key stakeholders

● Support the marketing team with audience insight and creation, driven from custom audiences created from Google Analytics, CRM, and custom database profiling amongst others

● Generate meaningful cohort analysis to determine the lifetime value, retention, and churn of specific audiences, to help guide the acquisition and retention strategy for the marketing teams

● Automate reporting across the business, to minimize the need for manual intervention in core ongoing reporting

● Build, mentor, and manage a team of analysts to support the growth of the business

Qualifications

●8 years + in senior web analytics roles

● eCommerce experience is mandatory

● Team management experience

● Programming knowledge of SQL is a must

● Knowledge of data analysis languages, such as R or Python is a plus

● In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics technical implementation and custom dataLayer variables is a key requirement

● Google Tag Manager implementation, management, and custom goal creation

● In-depth knowledge of creating custom dimensions in Google Analytics

● Marketing audience generation from Google Analytics and other tools

● Google 360 and Google Big Query experience

● Snowflake experience would be a plus
