About the Role

As Care Manager, you will lead the development and growth of our new Glastonbury service, ensuring outstanding care delivery, excellent compliance and positive outcomes for clients, families and Care Professionals.

Working closely with the Franchise Owner, fellow Care Managers and Compliance Team, you will benefit from the support of an experienced leadership network whilst having the autonomy to help shape and develop the service.

You will play a key role in creating a positive and inclusive culture where people feel valued, supported and empowered to succeed.

Key Tasks

  • Lead, manage, support and develop a high-performing care team.
  • Promote a culture of excellence, compassion and person-centred care.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, legislation and Home Instead standards.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals and community partners.
  • Oversee care planning, reviews and quality assurance processes.
  • Support the recruitment, retention and ongoing development of Care Professionals.
  • Drive service growth whilst maintaining exceptional care standards.
  • Monitor performance and continually identify areas for improvement.
  • Participate in the on-call rota.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider leadership, compliance and office teams to achieve outstanding outcomes.

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate

Essential:

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience within elderly care.
  • Previous leadership or management experience within domiciliary care.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or willingness to work towards achieving this.
  • Excellent understanding of CQC regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership, coaching and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong organisational and IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective when managing multiple priorities.
  • Flexibility to meet the needs of the business, including participation in the on-call rota.

This role would suit an experienced Deputy Manager, Care Manager, Registered Manager or Operations Manager who is looking for an exciting opportunity to help shape and grow a new service.
