Are you an experienced Care Assistant ready for something more varied, more rewarding, and more impactful?

We’re looking for a flexible, compassionate, and adaptable individual to join us as a Universal Care Assistant – known internally as a Universal Care Professional – a unique role designed for someone who thrives on variety and truly making a difference wherever they’re needed most.

This isn’t your typical care role. You’ll be at the heart of our service, stepping in to support clients across a range of care settings - ensuring no one is ever left without the exceptional care they deserve.

About the Role
As a Universal Care Assistant, you’ll provide high-quality care across a variety of services, including:

  • Domiciliary (home) care visits
  • Emergency and short-notice support
  • Waking nights and sleep-ins
  • Temporary live-in care placements

Your role will include:

  • Delivering personal care with dignity and respect
  • Supporting with daily routines and medication
  • Preparing meals and providing companionship
  • Adapting quickly to different clients and environments
  • Being a reassuring, friendly presence in times of need

Pay & Benefits

  • £13.30 per hour for care delivery
  • £12.71 per hour for travel time
  • 35p per mile mileage
  • Enhanced rates for waking nights

  • Previous care experience (essential)
  • A flexible and open-minded approach to different types of care
  • Confidence working across a variety of settings and clients
  • A calm, reliable, and proactive attitude
  • Willingness to work a mix of shifts, including nights and live-in when required
  • A driver with access to a vehicle (essential)
