We support clients across Halifax, Brighouse, Elland, Sowerby Bridge, Queensbury, Cullingworth and surrounding areas, so we're looking for carers who are happy to travel within our local community.

Job Description

What You'll Be Doing

As a Care Assistant, you will support clients with a range of non-medical care, including:

  • Personal care
  • Companionship and conversation
  • Meal preparation
  • Medication support
  • Light housekeeping
  • Shopping and errands
  • Accompanying clients to appointments or social outings

Working Hours

Weekend Availability

  • All Care Assistants are required to work alternate weekends.
  • Weekend availability must cover 7:00am to 10:00pm.

Weekday Availability
We are looking for carers who can commit to one of the following:

  • Full-day availability between 7:00am and 10:00pm
  • Morning availability from 7:00am
  • Evening availability until 10:00pm

We'll work with you to create a schedule that works for both you and our clients.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

No previous care experience is required – we'll provide full training. We're looking for people with the right values who are kind, reliable, compassionate and passionate about helping others.

You will need:

  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A caring, professional attitude
  • The right to work in the UK
