Job Description

Morning Care Professional (8am starts)

Lewes, Uckfield and surrounding areas.

We’re looking for warm, dependable people who enjoy early starts, familiar routes, and building real connections with clients close to home.

Role overview

As a part-time Morning Care Professional, you’ll support clients during the most important part of their day, the morning. Working from 8am or earlier, you’ll visit regular clients helping them feel confident, comfortable, and ready for the day ahead.

Whether assisting with morning routines, preparing breakfast, or sharing a friendly chat over a cup of tea, your presence will bring reassurance, dignity, and a positive start to every day.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist clients with morning personal care routines (bathing, dressing)
  • Prepare nourishing breakfasts and warming drinks tailored to client preferences
  • Carry out light housekeeping (making beds, tidying rooms, washing up, laundry)
  • Provide medication reminders and monitor wellbeing
  • Offer companionship through gentle morning activities (reading, music, music, puzzles)
  • Accompany clients into the community or run small errands when needed

What we’re looking for

  • A naturally caring, patient, and reliable nature
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail when following care plans
  • Availability for morning shifts starting from 8am
  • Ability to travel between local coastal visits (own transport preferred)
  • No prior experience required (full training provided)

  • Full driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle preferred but not essential
