Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Providing companionship and emotional support to clients in their own homes.

  • Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.

  • Preparing nutritious meals and assisting with feeding as required.

  • Administering medication as per care plan and following established protocols.

  • Assisting with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.

  • Accompanying clients on appointments, errands, and social activities.

  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in clients' condition to the care management team.

Requirements

  • Essential: A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to older adults.

  • Essential: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Essential: Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

  • Essential: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Essential: Must be able to provide references.

  • Desirable: Previous experience in a caregiving role, either professional or personal.

  • Desirable: A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
