Company Description

A Career Where You Truly Matter with Home Instead Kirklees

If you are looking for a job that feels meaningful every single day, this could be your moment to make a change.

At Home Instead Kirklees, care is never rushed and never routine. We give our Care Professionals the time they need to build real relationships through minimum one hour visits. That means proper conversations, genuine connection, and care that actually makes a difference.

We are looking for people who naturally care. The ones friends turn to. The ones who listen, notice the small things, and show up when it matters most. If that sounds like you, you already have the qualities we value most.

No previous care experience? That is not a problem. If you bring kindness, patience, and reliability, we will provide full training and ongoing support to help you thrive.

What makes this different?
✨ Flexible hours that work around your life
✨ No rushed visits, ever
✨ Proper time to build relationships with clients
✨ Full training and continuous support
✨ A role where you can genuinely see the difference you make

📍 Working across Mirfield, Skelmanthorpe, Huddersfield, Honley, Holmfirth, Golcar, Lindley, Kirkheaton and Midgley

This is more than a job. It is a chance to bring comfort, independence, and companionship to people in your local community.

If you are ready for work that feels worthwhile, we would love to hear from you.

Job Description

So, what is the job really about?

It is about turning everyday visits into something that genuinely matters.

You might start your morning helping Mrs Smith get up, choose something comfortable to wear, and sharing a relaxed cup of tea while she enjoys her breakfast. Later, you could support Mr Jones with medication, help him with a shower, and make sure he has a proper hot meal ready for the day. Another visit might simply be a bit of housework, a trip to the shops, or a walk for fresh air and company.

No rushed visits. No clock watching. Just real time to care.

What makes this role special is the connection you build. You are not just helping with tasks, you become a familiar, trusted face in someone’s life. Someone they look forward to seeing, someone who brings reassurance, conversation, and a bit of laughter into their day.

Full training and support from day one

Whether you are new to care or already experienced, you will receive award winning training designed to build your confidence and skills. You are fully supported every step of the way, so you can focus on doing a great job and enjoying it.

If you are kind, reliable, and want a role where you genuinely make a difference every day, this could be the most rewarding job you ever do.

Qualifications

What you will bring
