Home Instead Ilkley are recruiting wonderful people within the local community to provide 1-2-1 care to our clients, who live within their own homes.

We are looking for a Live-in Care Professional to join the Home Instead team.

The Role:

  • To commit to living within the clients home for an agreed period of time - usually 2 week on/2 week off.
  • To offer assistance to our client by undertaking their personal care and helping with their tasks such as shopping and household chores
  • To maintain strict confidentiality of client and company at all times
  • To work one on one with the client and have the ability to prioritise tasks
  • To offer support wherever necessary to ensure the client is well looked after
  • To report any issues of concern to the Care Team or Registered Care Manager
  • To ensure the level of care is compliant with CQC standards and Home Instead standards
  • It is essential that you are a naturally empathetic person. You will find it easy to build a good rapport with people and have excellent communication skills.

The Live-in Care Professional:

  • A warm, compassionate and personable nature with the ability to work with patience, tact and understanding
  • A smart phone to access the Home Instead app
  • To support our client 1-on-1 within their own home
  • Experienced carer, preferably Live-in care experience
