About the role:
We are looking for kind, compassionate Care Assistants who want to make a genuine difference in our client's life to join our team as a Female Live-In Care Professional in West Lothian.
Please note: this role is open to female applicants only due to a Genuine Occupational Requirement, based on the specific needs of the client.
In this rewarding role, you will live in a client’s home and provide personalised, non-medical support to help her remain independent, safe, and comfortable. Your responsibilities may include assisting with daily routines, offering companionship, and accompanying her to appointments or social outings. Your presence will play a vital role in enhancing her overall quality of life.
A valid driving licence and access to a reliable car are essential for this position.
No formal qualifications or previous professional experience are required. However, experience in a care setting or supporting older people, whether through work, volunteering, or caring for a family member, would be beneficial.

Shift Patterns (including weekends):
- 1 week on/1 week off
- 2 weeks on/2 weeks off
- Respite Care (Ad-Hoc short-term placements)
- Other personalised shift patterns can also be created, working a minimum of 2 consecutive weeks
Additional Information
As a Live In Care Professional, you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition, we offer comprehensive training and support.
