Job Description
🌟 The role: where leadership meets purpose
As Deputy Care Manager, you’ll play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality, relationship-led care. Supporting the Care Manager, you’ll help lead and inspire a team committed to helping people live independently in their own homes.
This is more than a management role, it’s an opportunity to shape experiences, support people, and uphold the standards that make our service exceptional.
🧩 What you’ll be doing
• Leading, supporting, and developing a team of Care Professionals
• Conducting home visits, care assessments, and quality assurance checks
• Introducing Care Professionals to clients to build strong, lasting relationships
• Creating and reviewing personalised care plans
• Monitoring performance and supporting continuous improvement
• Maintaining accurate, compliant care records
• Working collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and the wider team
• Ensuring all care meets CQC standards and company values
• Responding to concerns with empathy and professionalism
• Participating in the on-call rota and supporting day-to-day operations
Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who is:
• Experienced in delivering and managing care services
• A confident, supportive leader with excellent communication skills
• Knowledgeable in CQC regulations and compliance
• Highly organised with strong problem-solving abilities
• Compassionate, empathetic, and values-driven
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willing to work towards it)
• Flexible to meet the needs of the business
• A driver with access to their own vehicle
