Job Description

We are looking for an organised, resilient and people-focused Scheduler to join our local team.


This role is available due to the current post holder progressing within the company, reflecting our strong commitment to internal development.

This is a key coordination role, ensuring care schedules are efficient, responsive and centred around the needs of both clients and Care Professionals.

You will:

  • Build and manage effective weekly schedules, factoring in travel time, holidays, training and last-minute changes.

  • Respond calmly and accurately to schedule adjustments, working closely with the wider team.

  • Match Care Professionals to new clients and arrange introductions alongside the client services team.

  • Promote continuity of care by scheduling the same Care Professionals at consistent times wherever possible.

  • Develop strong, professional relationships with clients and Care Professionals.

  • Maintain accurate records on the electronic scheduling system.

  • Work with recruitment and care teams to ensure care packages are resourced in a timely and sustainable way.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a scheduling or coordination role (home care, health, logistics or similar).

  • Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

  • Excellent communication skills with a calm, positive and resilient approach.

  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with great attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently, think logically and meet deadlines.

  • A collaborative team player who builds rapport quickly and professionally.

  • An understanding of the geography of Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Wem is essential.

  • Salary: £25,000 per annum, increasing following a successful probationary period.
