Job Description

Responsible for the implementation, overview, organisation, and delivery of all training programs to improve the knowledge, skills, and competence of Care Professionals,

  • Deliver Induction Training program for all new Care Professionals, ensuring they attain the relevant level of competence to deliver their role.
  • Complete on the job competency assessments to ensure Care Professionals have the right skills and knowledge.
  • Responsible for delivering training as outlined in the Care Professional Development Journey for all Care Professionals, ensuring all relevant refresher training is completed within the correct timescales.
  • Develop training and enhance the skills of the existing team through personal development plans.
  • Manage the Lumis on-line training system, ensuring training records and the team's training compliance is up-to date at all times.

Qualifications

Experience of working in the care sector - ideally 1 year minimum, with training experience.

Sound knowledge and understanding of People Planner software system (or similar scheduling system)

Exceptional organisational skills

Knowledgeable of the local area

Flexible and able to prioritise a changing to do list

Detail oriented and conscientious

Trustworthy and reliable

Self-motivated

Articulate and a good communicator

Good with English (verbally and written)

Proficient in using a computer (especially Word, Excel, and MS Office)

Able to work in a team

A car driver

Additional Information

This is a full-time position based in Corsham, Wiltshire.  The hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday plus sharing out of hours phone support.  All appointments are subject to a satisfactory DBS check and references.

Salary: £26,000 - £27,000 basic salary plus out of hours phones paid on top of this equating to approximately an extra £2,500 for one weekend in 5 and an evening a week.
