Qualifications
Carers at Home Instead aims to make a difference each day for clients. The role involves showing up with a smile, making time for a chat and a cuppa, supporting with personal care, administering medication, helping with simple chores, going on outings and having fun! Just like anything you would do for your parents. You may be the only person our Client sees in a day, so if you are a kind and compassionate person, you will make an outstanding Carer!
About The Role
On a typical day, you will be working on your own visiting clients in their homes. You will show up with a smile, ask them how they are doing and provide companionship to build trust and friendship.
Every client’s need is unique, however, the role includes some or all of
- Companionship services – having a cuppa, going out, sharing hobbies, etc.
- Providing personal care – bathing and dressing.
- Administering and documenting medication
- Documenting care activities and liaising with the office to discuss changing client needs.

Qualifications
Skills & Experience
Whether you have experience in a care setting or nursing home; if you have been a care assistant in the community; a private carer for a family member; or no care experience, we offer full training and support to become a qualified and confident care assistant.
