Job Description
Your live-in carer duties may include but are not limited to:
- Providing companionship and company
- Supporting clients with personal care
- Administering Medication
- Light housework
- Shopping
- Preparing healthy meals
- Accompanying clients to appointments and social outings
- Supporting clients to pursue their hobbies, interests and ,social activities
- Offering specialised care for people with Dementia, Parkinson’s, Stroke , and other conditions
- Typically 2-4 week assignments (£120 - £150 per day)
- Dual contracts available in the East Devon area to support our daily clients as well
Qualifications
You will have:
- 2 years minimum of experience working in Care is desirable but not essential as full training is provided
- NVQ/QCF Health and Social Care - Level 2 or 3 is desirable
- Excellent written and conversational English
- Entitlement to work in the UK
- A friendly and caring attitude
- An understanding of the importance of confidentiality
- Patience, common sense and a good sense of humour
Additional Information
As a Live In Care Professional, you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition, we offer comprehensive paid training and support from our local office. Holiday pay.
