Job Description

Your live-in carer duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Providing companionship and company
  • Supporting clients with personal care
  • Administering Medication
  • Light housework 
  • Shopping
  • Preparing healthy meals
  • Accompanying clients to appointments and social outings
  • Supporting clients to pursue their hobbies, interests and ,social activities
  • Offering specialised care for people with Dementia, Parkinson’sStroke , and other conditions
  • Typically 2-4 week assignments (£120 - £150 per day)
  • Dual contracts available in the East Devon area to support our daily clients as well

Qualifications

You will have: 

  • 2 years minimum of experience working in Care is desirable but not essential as full training is provided
  • NVQ/QCF Health and Social Care - Level 2 or 3 is desirable
  • Excellent written and conversational English 
  • Entitlement to work in the UK 
  • A friendly and caring attitude 
  • An understanding of the importance of confidentiality 
  • Patience, common sense and a good sense of humour 

Additional Information

As a Live In Care Professional, you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi.  In addition, we offer comprehensive paid training and support from our local office. Holiday pay.
