Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Care Supervisor in Basingstoke area.  

We are looking for someone who is personable, kind hearted and experienced in the provision of care, to work closely with our office staff to assist with taking on new clients and supporting our care professionals in the field.  The role will involve assisting at care consultations, starting off new clients, conducting client reviews and care professional support visits, and covering care visits when necessary.

The role will include office work to write, review and update digital client care plans and audit care visits, so you will need to be comfortable working on computers.

You will need very broad availability so as to be able to attend to clients in the evenings when necessary.  Regular weekend work is not anticipated, but you will need to be able to work with the rest of the office team to cover any necessary weekend requirements when they arise.  

You will need your own transport in order to visit clients in their homes.

Qualifications

  • Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent
  • Experience in the care sector delivering a range of personal care services
  • Experience of working with medication in a supervisory role
  • Passion for delivering the highest quality care to clients and helping them to live independently and happily in their own homes
  • Knowledge and understanding of legislation and regulations specific to health and social care
  • Good communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Must understand the importance of confidentiality, working within current legislation 
  • Must have full driving licence and means of transport to conduct client visits
  • Be organised and flexible to meet the needs of the business
